Photos by Eri Ranchez
Back in our Junior year of high school, Eri and I had our very first shoot at her family's house. I was a noob at posing and was in desperate need of photos for a modelling set card so I can audition for our high school's annual fashion show. We called that set Golden Hour since the shoot took place with the sun setting behind us; giving the photos an almost golden hue.
This time however, we were in Eri's incredibly minimalistic (aka empty) humble abode which faces west. Taking advantage of the gorgeous natural lighthing we had and the shadows that formed on the floors and walls, Eri managed to take breathtaking photos that can undoubtedly overshadow our first Golden Hour set. You would see me wearing a similar get-up most days in school. I tend to wear comfortable clothes and footwear just in case I need to run any last minute errands around the campus. So lately, all of my sneakers are looking pretty worn and banged up.
