Veering away from my usual school ensemble of tee shirts and jeans, I decided to sport a pencil skirt and a high necklined cropped top for a change; I ended up looking like a librarian though... oops

Top from COPPER

I bought this top last May but never had the reason to wear it because A.) its fabric is on the thick side and who would even think of wearing something like this during summer? B.) I'm not used to wearing a top with a high neckline, and C.) it's way too cropped for my liking and even my super high-waisted jeans from Topshop can't seem to completely cover my stomach, but one morning I grabbed it thinking it would remain chilly the entire day - of course, I was wrong.

Skirt from Katie & Lee

Despite my previous apprehensions with this top, this grey piece has become one of my favourite wardrobe staples and I can't wait to wear it again (I need to stock up on more high-waisted bottoms first!).

With all the schoolwork and org work I've had during the first semester, I'm pretty surprised that I managed to squeeze in a handful of shoots in between hell weeks. Anyway, cheers to the holidays because Simbang Gabi, Noche Buena, and alarm-free mornings! How are you spending your Christmas break?
